[rosacea] Microderm Abrasion

Hi all, I have gotten 2 rounds of IPL, and the woman suggested that the next time I come in, she do microderm abrasion on my face before the IPL so the IPL can be more effective. (Apparently I haven't been that red when I've come in, and the IPL can only target what redness is currently there. The microderm abrasion will bring out the redness & hopefully make IPL more effective.) I think she will include the microderm abrasion in my IPL price, which is awesome! My concern is if people with rosacea can tolerate microderm abrasion, or if it'll really exacerbate my rosacea & be a horrible mistake. Any ideas/experience?
